Hey #NES #gamedevelopers out there! Here’s a kickstarter my company is doing for their new NES board they want to make: www.kickstarter.com/projects/701...
You should check it out! We want to make a bunch of them!
It does a lot of really cool stuff already and is only getting better!

Accidentally started in 1993 - technically didn't realize it was a thing until 2003. Was hospitalized for Kawasaki's disease then and some kind soul donated a bunch of NESs and a bunch of games, not a huge variety though. Kids in the ward would "race" games. Just became something I did with games.
Yeah, don't just save that for the ugly days.
Only caring about your own rights is exactly how you lose them. Says Skeletor looking at all the open carry sword folks.

Well, it's either wrong, or the cooler option: it can randomly teleport when no one is looking.

What dark gods do I have to worship to get this to happen? Heck I'll stoop to worshipping the nice ones too.
It happens.

People forget the stopped clock is right UNintentionally. Intentionality is key here, as even the way this particular clock gets to this one good moral code is off the back of horrifically repugnant ideology.
I had this dream once.

Matt Desmond has released Des-test Kernal for the C64.
Instead of being a cart you plug in, this is a KERNAL replacement that can fully test all of the C64's RAM in an extremely thorough way. Much better test than any other existing test for the C64.

@fenriswolfretro.bsky.social found this amazing SNES repo board and it's the first time I've seen them finally do one of these. 1uprestorations.com/collections/...
I haven't played Diablo 2 in 15 years. Gonna try hopping on the new D2R ladder tonight. Let's see if I even remember how to play.

That's my Garak right there.
I am pleased to announce that at 20:00 CEST (about 2 hours from now), I'm gonna show a new recently found first party #64DD game prototype.
(No, it is NOT MOTHER 3, but it is pretty cool!)

Fun fact Lt. Dante from Vortex looks vaguely like my wife. 👀
Happy 5th birthday to the official theme for Spirit Halloween
Oh dear. Hope that wasn't too much trouble!
I've personally had some trouble getting the translation running on my ODE modded Saturn, but I think that's the ODE, not the Saturn. Drive in that one died long ago.
I generally prefer Mednafen. It works well with the translation too.

The original SNES game's translation isn't particularly great, sometimes hindering game play.
PS1 is a bit better, but lacks the Saturn's (pretty cool) Japanese voice acting.
Sounds strange, but both PS1 and Saturn are a lot faster to play too. SNES has a rather slow compression scheme it uses.
