Spent the day, solo, in Edinburgh yesterday. I walked down to Leith, from the centre and had a lovely wander around and some lunch, before jumping a bus back to Canongate, a walk up The Royal Mile and booked myself a tour in Mary King's Close. Such a lovely, carefree day.

After a couple of chores and errands (which fortunately I now felt fit enough to tackle), I had my recuperation walk along to & around Saughton Gardens. Then a seat and enjoyed reading to the sound of birdsong (sound up).
