This is exactly why I’m running. We need leaders who will defend civil liberties and push back when the government overreaches.

If you want a member of Congress who will fight policies like this and stand up for our rights, I could use your support today: secure.actblue.com/donate/abu-b...

Funny how they’re spinning the jobs report as a positive but fail to mention unemployment rate went up.

Was this a personal phone or a government job issued phone paid by taxpayers?
Any employer can have access to your phone if they are conducting an investigation.

Good advice.

Something I’m proud of from my internet history? I spent a lot of time online encouraging other veterans to also get help through the VA. Because I knew even then that it was literally saving my life.

Being honest & vulnerable helps others start down the same path.

People like Pete will expect and in this case demand a standard they have never lived up to. That’s not leadership.

I guess we’ll see. If this gets passed with Democrats help, will this strengthen his thinking that he doesn’t need to work with Democrats?

I always disagreed with Dem candidates pandering to MAGA voters (not moderate republicans) because it’s futile. But I think a strategy of releasing all Epstein files with a promise to prosecute to the fullest extent may break that barrier or at least have very powerful people shitting their pants.

Yes. Republican voters will not blame their own and their politicians are giving them someone to blame.
I know it doesn’t make sense but it works for them.
Unfortunately, there’s enough politicians in the Democratic party (6 to 8) that will vote with republicans like last time.

Also, who the hell talks to Donald about historical events? I’m sure he’s had more conversations about how to traffic girls than what happened to Amelia.

I wonder if Microsoft will just pay Monaco 50 to 100 million to resign so she doesn’t sue the shit out of them for firing her under Trumps order.

Don’t cave… Please don’t do it. The only people who will blame you or Dems for a shutdown will be MAGA. They’re not going to vote for you or support you no matter what.

This is the man that ICE just detained. This isn't about catching criminals, it is about Ethnic cleansing www.iowapublicradio.org/news-from-np...

For whatever reason JD and MAGA don’t view capital police as actual law enforcement, or they just don’t give a shit about being hypocritical because their base will just nod their head in approval.

I wonder if another country like China has stepped in to provide aid which in turn strengthens their influence and control over countries around the globe?
I’m sure if this was brought up by someone in this administration they were quickly shouted down and ridiculed.

It appears GOP’s false allegations of Biden weaponizing the DOJ was actually a setup to justify their unjust weaponization of the DOJ as “payback”.
When/if the next Dem DOJ prosecutes this administration for actual crimes (ex: Homan) they will cry foul.

Yes, an anti-ice shooter who targeted the detainees. Makes sense.
To top it off the acting director made no condolences to the victims or their families.

Unfortunately, the same Dems who caved last time will cave this time. Schumer, Fetterman, etc. will rinse and repeat prior reasoning.

Rep. Stansbury: Week in Review
Rep. Stansbury: Week in Review YouTube video by Rep. Melanie Stansbury

The Epstein Investigation. The sweetheart deal that let him to continue to commit crimes. The U.S. Attorney who did not prosecute. And the Administration’s cover-up of the whole thing.

Not to mention a government shutdown. The budget. Crazy Oversight hearings. Our work this week on Capitol Hill! ⬇️

My questions to any farmer complaining about “spoiled” people not wanting to do the work is how little were you paying immigrants and how much did you benefit from paying that wage?

“The rise in political violence—which has inflicted tragedy upon the families of Republican activist Charlie Kirk and Minnesota’s House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman, a Democrat, and her husband Mark, and many other Americans on both sides of the aisle—is disturbing and unacceptable. We are unified in our condemnation of these attacks. It is critical to the safety of all Americans and the health of our democracy that we are able to approach our political differences with respect and without resorting to violence.”
