Moon Child began life as an Amiga AGA title before shifting to PC, where it finally saw release in 1997. A fascinating glimpse into a project caught between two eras. More here:

been working on a 2D Unity-like game engine from scratch:
C++ with SDL3 renderer, Luau scripting, scene hierarchy and behavior system, and interactive editor in an integrated webview.
Still some rough edges but the pieces are all there!

Claude (which like any AI has a knowledge cutoff date a couple of months ago) finds out about the newest Middle East War during a research (screenshot from Reddit).
I feel you, Claude, I really do.
so they're more likely to spot all the places where AI is likely to trip up. But they're not as familiar with other jobs so they think that they're more replaceable than they actually are. And vice versa of course
huh, i dunno about that, i've seen people discount lawyers constantly too when it comes to AI. People just think that any job that isn't theirs is easily replaceable. Primarily bc they don't want to lose their jobs, and secondarily bc they know more about the inner workings of their jobs than others
you mean windows?
A bestiary entry featuring a creature called a Hoverat. The description is as follows: "They travel overheard in small packs. It is not rare to be hit by the garbage that they unwittingly drop."
new creanture discovered
It is kind of annoying how all the windows aren't just repositionable tabs. I keep wanting to move the shader editor and the output tab into specific layouts but they're stuck to the bottom panel, when it really feels like they should be repositionable ( as should all the other tab/windows )
Yup, we're working on a new Castlevania game.
Thanks to KONAMI, & with Motion Twin's friendly advice, the franchise will be going back to its roots with what we hope to be the best whip traversal & combat ever seen in a 2D action-adventure game! Noooo pressure...

i was aware of the collection exporter feature, but i didn't know you could make custom exporters. Do you access this through python scripting?
wow, i stop using bluesky for a little bit and come back to rudimentary cpus in allumeria. insane haha
whoa hey, i saw you post this on the mini jam server, didn't realize i already followed you on here though lol. This looks sick! excited to try it out!
over time, i've amassed a collection of free **legal** web/html based textbooks that i've found online for various random subjects, so i've decided to start storing a list of them on my website.
check them out here if that sounds interesting:

A whole 256 32x32 monochrome pixel icons.
"I will just make a few custom 32x32 icons for my Godot project"
oops, made a whole sheet. this is honestly one of my favourite things to do.
nujabes cd arrived today :)
i got most of these, but i didn't get #34, and i didn't count the little frilly hearts on the chest window because i thought those weren't fully heart shaped due to missing the pointy bottom
ok so is it though?
