JSR is a little rough around the edges, you might like Jet Set Radio Future more. Less arcade-y, more linear story progression and exploration heavy.

If I had created a media property with an audience half as entitled as delta rune or digital circus I'd probably end up making the protagonist recreate one man one jar out of spite.

When I finally figure out a way to be able to consistently work on projects I’ll be unstoppable

And probably medicated but that’s besides the point

People have been repairing the communal pool out here for the last few days and that’s fine

Today they’ve been blasting Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Tool etc while using what sounds like a dental drill on concrete.

Not quite as fine.

Wow thanks nvidia, I’ve always wanted to put a “Make your own AI girlfriend” filter over Oblivion, very cool.

Made myself laugh making this stupid mockup diagram of something I was getting a friend to help me with. I'm very talented.

Link's Awakening done, very good game. A little tedious and listless in parts but still really fun. Ending got me more than I thought it would for a fuckin Gameboy game.

Oracle of Ages >= Awakening > Oracle of Seasons

Leshii kinda said what I was gonna do but it's still very much of the same ilk as Isaac, Bumbo, games with just constant gross-out extreme humor. There's humor in absurdity, I don't think the game's content is bad necessarily, but there's definitely a mindset that hasn't changed.

Oracle of Ages was a much more engaging experience than Seasons for me. Better world, better gimmick, some really rough dungeons near the end, but at least there was an actual story and characters.

I didn't expect the linked game mechanic to feel so good, but it made the whole experience better.

Couple more Oracle of Ages thoughts:

The puzzle solving feels good, even if some of the backtracking through dungeons is mind numbing. The secret system between games is really cool, but HOLY SHIT some of the secret requirements...

777 Ore is a fucked up thing to do to players.

Started Oracle of Ages tonight, already enjoying the vibes a lot more than Seasons (not that it was bad). The uh...Tokay sequence on the island was DEFINITELY a really, really...interesting segment. But I'm really enjoying the general flow and story way more.

Really, really wish I clicked with Deadlock more than I did. Only did 2 games, love the aesthetics, my friends were REALLY patient with me trying to teach me what to do, even as I went negative in both games lol

Idk. Maybe I'll try it again, but it felt rough.

Finally finished Zelda Oracle of Seasons. It's fun, feels very polished and way more than I expected from a GBC Zelda game. It's a little over cryptic in spots, often making it hard to know where to go next, but I still had a good time.

But holy shit traveling back and forth...
