It's very important to certain kinds of media outlets to word this as if the Israeli government is not happy with what the Israeli military is doing.

The current rightwing buzzword in the US is "fraud." Apparently it resonates with the MAGA crowd so they're using it for everything now. Anti-immigration is all about "fraud." Arresting Democrats is all about "fraud." Justification for sendiing militarized police to blue states is "fraud." Etc Etc

It was pretty underhanded of Iran to respond with a strategy that the Administration was not aware of because none of them read their prepared packets about possible strategies.
