I dunno if it would be top 3/4, but SFX and soundtrack are huge ones for me. If the soundtrack doesn't absolutely match teh vibe it can ruin teh entire game for me.
SFX being unbalanced also makes a game no fun to play imo.

Happy birthday to my fave rpg of all time, final fantasy 6! This game changed my view on what a video game could be when i was a kid.
