Ok how about making housing affordable for people for practical reasons? It's pretty practical to have somewhere to live

It's bigger than that, it's large
I know the Offspring fella is an extremely qualified science boy, so I'm assuming something along these lines for the rest too?
Yeah I really love making good stuff aimed fully at kids. I do comedy workshops with kids too, so can keep up with what they find interesting or funny or lame. I work with a cast of kids for the radio show, so they keep me on my toes too. All taken seriously, but still very fun silly stuff for kids!
"Does he have a track record of success?"
"No, but he is extremely arrogant."
"Sold!
Another way of looking at the theme is "goodies vs baddies"
Currently writing a sci fi radio series for kids and one of the episodes is about the encroaching dangers of gen AI but it is still a radio series for children
My theory that there's only about 8 people in Ireland continues to prove itself
I had to work so hard to buy a house. Being a freelancer who writes comedy & does workshops doesn't really scream MORTGAGE FRIENDLY to a bank.
I'm still so chuffed & grateful, not yet used to seeing the kids play in the garden, I wonder when I'll start looking at it all as an investment opportunity
Look if Satan did a good interview and gave me access to a few of his contacts I don't think I'd bother vetting him
Can I just get ahead of the media and say Country Dada is not Dublincentric or offensive to rural Ireland AT ALL
He just pronounces 'vehicle' all weird and keeps trying to offload free tickets to the Ploughing Championships
Guaranteed to have a banger of a theme song anyway
Interesting thing is I didn't even come out thinking "I MUST KNOW MORE ABOUT THOSE WEIRD KIDS!"
A real lesson in what is necessary for a movie to work
Saw it for the first time over the weekend too and can't stop thinking about how they reveal the plot so slowly and barely at all through most of it. It felt great, good for the brain!
I do characters for my kids with names like "Serious Dada" and "Country Dada" and "President Dada". Good to know UK politics operates under a similar system
Sample testimonial for Lifebet .com:
"Apparently while I was in the womb I bet 500 grand that I wouldn’t be born, but then I was born, and now I owe LifeBet. com 500 grand. It doesn’t seem right to me, so I made a bet that what they were doing was illegal, but I lost that too."
Complete one offs too. He never calls Fry Orange Joe again, so good
I wrote a sketch for Newsjack about gambling called "WhenTheFunStopsStop". It was an ad for a gambling company that would let you gamble on stuff like "how many steps on my walk to work?" & "how long will I be in the womb?" & "when will I die?" & little did I know I was predicting polymarket
I really love when the Professor refers to people with weird nicknames, usually in agreement with them.
Re Bender: "The mechano man is right!"
Re Fry: "Orange Joe is right!"
Think this is also the ep with another fave of mine"
Zapp: Take her to the brig.
Bender: We don't have a brig.
Zapp: Then take her to the laundry room, which from now on will be referred to as the brig.
Fry: What will we do with these clothes?
Zapp: Take them to the laundry-brig.
I'm a sucker for a good "what" in comedy, Futurama is stuffed with them!
Femputer: "Why? I came from a distant planet ruled by a manbot disguised as a manputer. Have you any idea what's it like to be a fembot living in a manbot's manputer world?"
Bender: "What?"
Hahaha!
Zapp's dating tips:
"The best way to a girl's heart is through her parents. Have sex with them and you're in."
Zapp's chat up lines:
"If I said you had a beautiful body, would you take your pants off and dance around a little?"
"Tell the boy to do my laundry."
"'The boy', sir?"
"You Kiff, you do my laundry"
Yeah this one is very high up the list for me
*Bender speaking to God*
Bender: So do you know I'm going to do something before I do it?
God: Yes.
Bender: What if I do something else?
God: Then I don't know that.
I want Man City to win cause the football Arsenal play makes me want to claw my eyes out, I have no room for morals to enter into it
"I have created a wall of fire 20 feet high to surround the training ground in an attempt to inspire my players to victory"
"Ok but maybe try coaching them to score some goals from open play too"
Arteta has managed to do Pep Guardiola's "overthinking Champion's League knockout ties" thing but over an entire season
This is very bad. She is an especially dangerous piece of shit
