What I'm really looking for in an AI datacenter is something light and breathable using natural fabrics.

I have lived in several countries and there is nowhere apart from the US (and Canada apparently!) where *everyone* does it. It's usually an exception, not the rule.
Aaaaaaaaahmazing
Your annual reminder that the USA is the only country where everyone has to manually file taxes every year. Every other country just deducts what you owe and doesn't bug you about it. The only reason it works this way is because Intuit lobbies to keep it this way.
TIL. I thought your name was "tef".
Autistic people. It's autistic people who need to hear this.
Only 90s kids will understand why the fact that the official government term for cybersecurity is "cyber" is deeply embarrassing. www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2026-04-14...
California has returned to normal.
I'm excited that @seldo.com from Arize will be speaking at AgentCon about one of my fav topics, evals:

The fact that evangelicals were okay with Trump threatening to destroy an entire civilization but drew the line at a picture of him as Jesus tells you everything you need to know about modern Christian morality.
Training an AI to imitate Zuck is easy because he's already in the uncanny valley.
All coffee is iced coffee if you forget about it long enough.
I would love to pull of a Hungary-level electoral demolition of the republicans but I fear too many people are either secretly or openly happy with fascism.
It's important to remember that Rabois is extremely dumb.
TIL an oil tanker carries about $200M worth of oil per trip*, making a $2M transit fee really not a big deal.

Telling that as big of a piece of shit as orban is, he managed to concede to defeat. Something Trump has never been able to do. www.nytimes.com/2026/04/12/w...
At least with Greenland it was clear what he wanted to happen, even if it was crazy. Nobody knows what he was trying to do here, least of all him.
Iran should up the stakes by blocking the Suez.
"Blocking the strait is raising energy prices worldwide and making me unpopular so what I'll do is, I will also block the strait."

In retrospect the time when he was merely threatening to end NATO to annex Greenland was a sort of golden age of rational foreign policy.
I had this problem and created directories for screenshots for previous years. It's not often I need my screenshots from 2004.
I AM COOL ENOUGH TO SEE AND IGNORE YOUR ADS
Once again Coachella has started without my even being vaguely aware that tickets were on sale. I don't want to go but I'm offended to not even be considered the demographic who would go.
Why would I want to have to learn a brand new interface every time?
Literally zero people are clamoring to strap ski goggles to their faces.
I feel similarly when people talk about the rise of voice UIs. I do not feel like people are clamoring to talk to their computers.
I am confused by claims that the agentic era is going to mean the end of UIs. Chat really sucks for a lot of use cases! UI is often really great!
I would probably get excited about Mars.
