The incredibly narrow cohort that needs prescription orthotic inserts for their heelys
This follows on much of the recent pattern of far right posting. They've abandoned the more convoluted framings and are now just out here saying "I'm scared of people who are in any way different from me." Adults acting like frightened children.
Adorable scamp
There is nothing to be done
put another chain on, just to be safe
I appreciate this public service you are providing
Life is short and it's more likely that you'll improve your quality of life with morning coffee of consistent quality than that the amount of money you save by not getting it will make a material difference later
In my early childhood it was, inexplicably, "Start the Revolution Without Me," and in my later childhood it was, somewhat more understandably, "First Men in the Moon"
That sounds delicious
Well, that's delightful.
I enjoy this so much absent any context. Just a little slice of delight.
Two hooded figures with lamps approach a moonlit, isolated cottage. A woman answers the door. We have come for the child, says the hooded figure So soon? she asks It is time, says the hooded figure. The woman is distraught. We should never have got him a library card! What is done cannot be undone, says the hooded figure We couldn’t see the harm! We just wanted him to enjoy reading! For most, it ends there, says the hooded figure, turning away and walking into the wilderness Oh lord, What have I done! says the woman, the child walks past her and out into the darkness with them. Do not cry mother. I am a writer now.

Close up of the bottom right corner of the quaker oats ad showing little hand drawn stars with rays
This part of the ad represents the "tinkling fairy dust" sound
"I'm sorry, our little Raiyeleigh knocked over your cartoon vase in the study."
"That was priceless 2600 year old precolumbian pottery"
"Was it? I thought it was World of Gumball merch"
A black and white photo of the ferry boat Louis Jolliet in the St Lawrence river, captioned: "1969-09-12 / @ Mac Mackay photo / Quebec City"
Looks like a cousin to the esteemed Louis Jolliet that used to run the Quebec/Levis crossing
The poise!
Something about the framing here makes it look like the head of Dusty Springfield in an elaborate presentation box
What are those hours? 10am-3pm?
If you'd told me in 2010 that "vibecode outage" was going to be a thing in 2026, I would have assumed it was a nerve dot com headline
Amol Rajan on Universily Challenge saying "I can't accept drum'n'bass, we need jungle, I'm afraid."
Reminiscent of this:

Omg, the Kool-Aid man is an arthropod!
Loved the homage to "The Swimmer"
