This time I used a canvas double my usual size because I wanted to add more of the posture but I don’t want the face to be smaller than what I’m comfortable working with! I’m happy with the choice, I feel it has more space to breathe, but it was a challenge!!

A large ocean wave is about to overtake a bedraggled man in a weathered rowboat. He looks distressed about this, knowing he's not going to be able to get clear of the wave in time.

A rusalka possessively embraces a man she's pulled under water in a pond; he doesn't appear to be struggling against her very much.

A minotaur with a sword sunk in his chest and several cuts on his body, but from each cut flowers and flower petals flow instead of blood. His face looks sad and pleading, and he raises a hand as if to fend off an attacker.

Somehow all three of the pieces I entered into Infected By Art Volume 13 were accepted into the final publication?? ? 😮
