Celebrated a milestone in Woonsocket yesterday with the ribbon cutting for Millrace Mills, the transformation of a historic mill into dozens of units of quality, affordable housing. Rhode Island Foundation has been proud to support this effort.

Excited to join a panel at the Nat’l Conference on Citizenship exploring the question: What if we strengthened civic health from the bottom up? We discussed how place-based philanthropy, led by community foundations, can action on civic renewal through year-round local engagement.
