that day will literally never come because living your life in spite of the discomfort is an essential part of transition, not because suffering is essential to transition (it isn't) but because dealing with discomfort is how you grow and become more confident as a human being.

i think the recent trend among trans people of hiding in their bedrooms to avoid all uncomfortable interactions until the day they magically feel 100% finished with their transition is incredibly harmful and as an older tranny it is incredibly frustrating to watch.
