- and of course - what we do is legal and nonviolent. there is 200M people in US who legally and nonviolently disagree with the govt. wanna know their ips? ask internet providers :D

- hack the code to store user's regular data provided by http protocol (ip included, but nothing PERSONAL, our app doesn't collect anything) and then new visitors' ips are in their hands. but that information they can obtain with much less effort and it's basically useless.

First - we don't store anything about users. Nada, zilch. If they get in (and it's much more difficult than you imagine), they can do two things:
- erase the app, which just stops the app and users are still invisible

It's cool to make a very important announcement with a typo in it.
