So it looks like Venmo has a duplicate transaction bug. Found multiple transactions over the past 6 months that sent twice. How do you fail so bad at ecomm 101?

So I just lost hours of work and research. Apparently @notion.com doesn't support offline mode (something so core to a notes app, you wouldn't even expect that to be a feature you should look out for).
Why even allow you to write in offline mode on mobile when it will just be deleted
Trump fell for the long con -- believing in a ceasefire. I guess The US lost the Cold War.
Though the more I think about it, AI for code gen has been eating up the "starter pack" market. Why mold your ideal situation to someone else when you can have something custom in a few prompts. It's been working really great for "I have a rough idea, lets build it together"
Is there a sort of starter pack for building a web service? Something super lightweight that can run on a #raspberrypi but easily extensible? I'm thinking something like a docker compose that sets up your redis cache, nginx, database, your choice api language, and your frontend framework. 1/2
Highly recommend @nominalnews.com. The content is always great and its amazing having news focused on research instead of hearsay!
Just got a raspberry pi and setup HomeAssistant and AdGuard home.
Working on getting some version of go links working. Why? No idea lol
Any other recommendations on setting up some stuff locally?
I thought it would have an effect but not this big of one. Hoping it continues
Now:
* No congestion, max speedlimit
* 30 minutes
* $50
There's an added benefit, the congestion in Jersey is way down too. Going through Hoboken is a ghost town, normally you're hitting stop signs with many fellow drivers.
Everyone living along the commute routes just got a living upgrade!

Congestion pricing works
Holland is closed after 11pm and you have to go through Lincoln. Which normally means 20+ minutes of 5mph traffic.
Uber from EV to JC at midnight would be around 1 hour ten min (had a 2 hour commute couple times). With all the congestion, around $65 - $90.

Google maps traffic data to compare to previous Sunday before congestion pricing from congestion-pricing-tracker.com. Pre-congestion pricing, rush hour wait time is 30m vs 10m post congestion pricing
Interesting to see how traffic is changing (based on Google Maps traffic data): www.congestion-pricing-tracker.com
01/06/25 Monday 2pm traffic according to Google Maps. Shows less red and yellow and red areas vs typical Monday.
Typical Monday 2pm traffic according to Google Maps. Shows more red and yellow vs congestion pricing current.
Been hearing some great examples of congestion pricing working. I mean just looking outside of my apartment I can see less cars
Comparing downtown Jersey City (which I personally think has worse congestion than Manhattan) vs now:
It's really nice not being forced to see Elon tweets here
I've been following along with similar companies and wow the progress in the last year has been crazy. This looks super real. Though I'm always wary of company made demo videos, will have to try for myself
