Signed onto another project. I don’t have a ton of details to share right now but know that this takes priority over Clocked In for the time being.
However, this job involves a lot of Ren’py programming, so I might have another test project to release…
We’ll see!

Sorry for the extended period of radio silence. I've had my hands full with some other work. What work, though?
I've been doing the marketing for Blunderbusted, a roguelite light gun shooter.
And our Kickstarter page just went live!! www.kickstarter.com/projects/dar...
I changed my mind it's delayed because of Silksong
Tl;dr Clocked In is delayed (again) for rewrites. These won’t take too terribly long, so all I ask is that you stick with me while I work on this. I have said it before and will say it again: Clocked In is going to come out. I refuse to cancel this one.
Of course, it means I still have no idea when the game is gonna come out. I’m effectively taking a 100m dash backwards. What I can say for certain is that this will make the game better. The new stuff will certainly be better than what would have been added before.
The reason for this is that I’ve become so discouraged to work on the current version of the story. It’s been impossible to make it make any sense.
As such, I’m going to begin rewriting major aspects of the story. What does this mean, exactly?
Hey all. Earlier this summer I stated that I would be resuming work on Clocked In. Since then, the amount of progress made has unfortunately been little to none. I did sit down and work on it, but ultimately, I barely got anything done.
Yes! I saw the bottle at my job and took a picture. It has the protagonist’s name on it. No affiliation with that company whatsoever. Free Palestine
Consider this your first teaser. Would you like this, @kingdrew.bsky.social?
Thank you for sticking with me during the break!! Clocked In WILL release. Big things are coming.
3. Voice actors
I am hoping to keep all of the same voice actors I had before! I will be reviewing my cast list and reaching out as necessary to make sure everyone's on board, and eventually, I will announce the full cast :)
2. Where I am rn
Currently, the game is entirely outlined and planned, meaning I am at the scripting stage. I will start by reviewing the entire script, and then editing as needed. Then we get right back to scripting! I don't intend on making any major changes to the story.
1. Change of engine
So making it in Godot was the original plan. Just to make things easier for myself, I'm going to be making the game in Ren'Py for now. Maybe a Godot version will get made later, but for my first big release, I will be using Ren'Py to make things easier.
Well, it's June 1st (5th actually), so as I've been saying, it's time to finally dedicate my time toi Clocked In again! I'm actually VERY able to do this now, so I'm about to give it my all and get this shit made!
Here's some updates about the state of the game:
About to make a serious post about Clocked In but I have to take a moment to say that the new Marvel fighting game looks so unbelievably cool
Notable changes: John Fishing and James M. Agonist now have hair. Also, the main menu has been updated. Minor bug and spelling/grammar fixes have also been made.

The game will be receiving an update in the future that adds voice acting! And it will also make sure that you can't pick the same option over and over
I'd like to take a second to announce something major.
Clocked In is going to be released physically here in the United States, as an exclusive for the Nintendo DSi!

April Fool's give me a few more days
Would you trust this man to solve your murder
I'm about to playtest something I've made. Feels a little surreal, but mostly, it feels right.
Joining low-commitment random projects for resume/portfolio building reasons
Do I think they'll get made? Good chance they won't. But if I get writing done and build some experience with working in a team, that's a win for me.
Will be free. Resume building piece. Then we move on to the next thing. Then…
…we return to Clocked In.
Expect a little tiny something by the end of the month.
So I'll say this. I have a really cool idea for a game, and I plan on dropping a demo for it before I return to work on Clocked In. This game, if it was to become a full game, would not be releasing until after Clocked In.
I will have some sort of legal protection over Clocked In nobody is taking my precious baby that’s been slowly cooking in my brain for several years
No I will not be posting progress stuff because I’m deathly afraid of someone taking the idea and using it without any credit whatsoever because I have no following and they could get away with it. That’s also why very little was revealed about Clocked In teehee.
