I Guess We’re Just Waiting Around To See If This Demented Psychopath Kills Everyone (Every Day Is an Exhausting New Hell). Yep.

The red foam glider finally landed behind the fence of 94-year-old Mrs. X. This particular fun is over for now, until her home health aide comes along tomorrow, sees it as she brings out Mrs. X’s trash and tosses it over the tall chain link back our way.
We’re going backwards.
But the weather was nice.
Give us statehood, voting rights. Don’t start wars, stop domestic military occupations, drone assassinations, funding & arming genocide. Cease disenfranchising parties, candidates & voters. Stop the self-dealing. So much barely challenged if not continued by every president & party in my lifetime.
Riding with @hillfamilybiking.org: The asks are so small… Leave bike lanes already installed in place (especially when those specific installations are measured to have improved safety). I mean, I’ll add: Maybe you know, let us spend our own tax dollars too …
Today, we ride (because they're making D.C. shitty again): machination.org/2026/03/22/today-we-ride...
But wouldn’t it be damn nice to look back at this in a couple-three-four years and say “this was a turning point.”
It could be. You gonna tell your delegation to sack up? You gonna put pressure on the party and the system to let them know the duopoly has undercut this too much every time?
This hopefully is no small thing. Getting 12 Senators on a letter is lots of work (I know, second hand, but very viscerally). Doing stuff after the letter is a fuck ton more work, and it’s the next chance for corporate capture to ramp up.
Pope Leo is the first Pope to have ever experienced the US healthcare system, so there's that
and, of course, palantir doesn’t actually have a technological lock on being the “eye of sauron,” plenty of f/oss can do the work too.
they’re an example because they’re already in bed.
through that lens i can echo your point. (also, i don’t know that platform, but i expect anything that would come out of it would need some tedious processing.)
the answer, of course, is they’re likely not trying and seemingly trying to do the opposite.
sure. i just mean, they’re beyond ridiculous in saying approximately “we have all these powerful tools, we’re integrating all this data, trust us, we can do it effectively.” and then nope! and i’m speaking as a former user/admin of some palantir tools.
They could use other stuff to accomplish the same, but it clear this admin is happy to pay for that shit and they’re not even using it (it seems) in one of the biggest most relevant and popular appropriate uses.
If the DOJ wanted to, they could use Palantir to ingest and unify the millions of heterogeneous Epstein files into a single searchable data model, apply link analysis to surface relationship networks and evidentiary patterns — and do some fucking law enforcement and compliance with releasing docs.
Delta used to be … something something “against human trafficking” something something …

What began as a one-person passion project turned into Divine and an attempt to revive a piece of internet culture we never should have lost.
Turns out, a lot of you missed it too, and are tired of AI Slop.

Let’s do it. Every U.S. president in my lifetime should probably be in the dock too.

The @amtrak.com dynamic pricing and bidding on upgrades is some dystopian bs. This is no way to run something that should be part of the commons and a pivot from over-reliance on highways.
@mayorbowser.dc.gov maybe you could get DPW to show up on here? While you’re at it, would you please ask them to put cans back from where they collect them (and maybe close the lids again)? It seems they make a mess that is a nontrivial regression of what they’re supposed to do w/collection.
Listening to Marco Rubio condemn the Iranian regime in apart for its "apocalyptic theology." Well, fuck, bro. You gonna hold that to any of your colleagues and supporters? You're full of shit. Never mind the imminent threat bullshit
Flickr’s API was the first (besides the internal Jython API of the Grassroots Multiplier product I deployed services on) I worked with. Embedding crowd-sourced photos and maps into advocacy campaigns.
