Good things happened to me today. I can’t share exactly what yet, but it’s pretty damn satisfying and exciting. Stay tuned.

Good morning.
Had a friend over for dinner. Deep dish lamb and beef spanakopita. Barley and pea salad with pistachio sauce. Pickled cukes and onion in a raspberry vinegar. Potato and eggplant salad. Dessert was orange olive oil cake with strawberry rhubarb compote.
Sunday morning baking.
Actually, I sat up getting started on Queer Food by @johnbirdsall.bsky.social
"Why, are you offering to donate?"
I’m still enough of a caterer that simply having a friend over for dinner tomorrow requires checklists and prep 24 hours in advance. TBH I haven’t been entertaining (on oh SO many levels… so many) in a long time and I’m looking forward to it.
A small pizza is technically half a large pizza
I ordered in a bacon cheeseburger with a double order of fries for dinner because I’m fretting about something. I now feel like I have a xenomorph auditioning for a Fosse musical in my belly.
100% agree that skipping it is the right decision
One phrase I never want to hear again is "We asked Lindsey Graham About His Bubble Wand".
Dinner. Linguine with pistachio cream, peas and ricotta.
The administration’s order to remove the Pride flag in February from the monument, which is in Greenwich Village, drew fierce backlash from L.G.B.T.Q. people across the country ..., who saw it as an attack on the symbolic heart of the gay rights movement.

Call 202-224-3121 and ask Trump's Republican co-conspirators that question. Without their willingness to enable the Trump crime spree, he would not be able to rip us off, or get away with raping children.
We had one good flash and boom that I think may have struck down on the peninsula.
It’s pouring rain in SF which just means it’s an excuse to bake cookies and put them on a pretty plate because it’s time to use the pretty plates for no better reason than cookies while watching the rain and lightning and thunder. It’s also a good day for run on sentences.
In Turkey, an elderly man who earns his living by shining shoes is visited every morning at the same time by a cat that asks to have its fur brushed. The man never turns down this little friend.😍👍💙
Dinner. Moro bean stew with tomato rice and a quick tossed salad.
Moro beans from Rancho Gordo about to join some mire poix that’s simmering in the pot with a smoked ham hock. We’re just going to let them get acquainted for a few hours and then make some cornbread and maybe some tomato rice.
Watching the NASA livestream at my desk. Everything is on hold while they're waiting for Artemis to return to signal. It's thrilling to know humans are currently on the other side of the moon.
I see what you did.
Good morning.
My neighbors just hosted an egg hunt in their backyard. 20 elementary school children at 8am on a Sunday 50 feet from my bedroom window.
Happy #Caturday from this lovely bookstore owner I saw in New Orleans last week.
They’re everywhere in SF and now we have Zoox testing on the street as well.
It's rather pretty down here in SF as well.
NASA just dropped this image of Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch looking back at us. The first woman to ever see our planet in its entirety. I’m not crying you’re crying 🥹🔭🧪 📸: NASA
