Believe it or not, Thyme is my favorite precious angel baby that can do no wrong. She just isn't as interesting to photograph as Space is as she spends all of her time sleeping in one of like 3 spots. But she is very cute, even when sleeping on my sweaters.

honestly I'm glad if the cactus is finally done being haunted, because it lives in the corner of our bedroom during the winter and I don't know if I want grandma watching me sleep

A summer scene as the days get shorter. 🌼

The last time it bloomed out of season was a single flower, in the middle of the plant, the week his grandfather passed. It was the middle of summer and the plant was outside at the time so it was not standard blooming conditions for these guys at all! It's been on schedule ever since then.

It seemed to bloom out of season whenever my husband was having a rough time. He had gifted the cactus to her, and we took it back when she passed as his grandfather was blind and couldn't care for it properly.

This is the same Thanksgiving cactus that we're pretty sure was haunted by the ghost of my husband's grandmother.
