Tomatoes setting abundance in the fieldhouse… warmer temps last week delayed our next round of heavy pruning (the last planned for this summer). We’ll clean up the lower suckers to reestablish harvest paths.

Fruit are just starting to size up, harvest still 3-4 weeks away depending on weather.

Slower varieties in our first succession are now fully in blossom… this is a BHN-589 tomato plant. No fancy name just a solid producer on a determinant plant which makes management in the tunnel less intensive.

Covers are now fully off and plants were staked last week. Staked variety is Rebelski.

Monday check-in on our early fieldhouse tomatoes. Quickest varieties (this is Cuba Libre) have their king blossoms fully open.

Row cover helped boost last week’s heat. We’ll remove the covers tomorrow and start to trellis them.

Bumble bees are now active for the year + wind = pollination.

We going back… solid release from Dimitri From Paris, released in the year 2000.

Simpler times it was, unexpectedly saw him spinning in the Pinky Room in NYC after this was released, solid night.

A glimpse into the successions of tomatoes growing in the prop house at the moment.

The 1st photo features our first outdoor field crop which will be potted up to larger cells this week and planted out early May.

Second photo is our 2nd fieldhouse planting which will be transplanted next week.

I ask bc if it’s high cal and your ingesting through the airway might be good to balance with magnesium. Epsom salt baths are great for this otherwise supplements.

The pressure to disparage… I guess it’s Scroll because we are impatient in 2023.
