My rage reading this. "It must be made up be cause it's one skdeded." No, its kne sided because if you just watch the video evidence ICE terrorized our state for nearly 3 months.

1. These fees are super expensive, I know, I paid so many of them.

JAG attorneys can be given temp appointments as AUSA it has always been common, and not at this scale. Usually for 1 case that's needs help. Source was a enlisted JAG clerk 20+ years ago.

It only hardened my resolve to go out there every day.

I think one thing people outside Minnesota don't understand is that after Good and Pretti were killed by feds while observing, the most normal people you could imagine have made peace with the fact that they could be next, and they are still out there because they say it's the right thing to do.

As there is a lot of news about immigration and who is "supposed" to be deported, it's worth talking about why the media and commentators keep using the word "criminal." Most people I hear will casually say, oh sure, we should "deport criminals."

Stop talking out of both sides of your mouth Tom. You voted to continue to fund the terror of ICE in our streets. You wanted this, you voted for this. Stop enabling fascists.

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.

Any war will have battles won, but it's a long slog before victory.

Friends outside the state asked me how things were in MN. I just replied with "Billy Bragg and Bruce Springsteen are writing songs about it."

ICE kidnapped 3 people in my neighborhood last night and an agent told an observer "Raise your voice, I'll erase your voice." Nothing is cooled down here.

Dennis Sweeney would, on an ask, explain to recalcitrant desk sergeants and shift lieutenants that he would hold them in contempt if they denied the public the face sheet of any shooting report.

We need to hold the Dems to abolish the DHS. Body cams aren't cutting it. We're literally dying and being kidnapped here in Minnesota. Our schools and churches are empty, some new rules don't fix that. This should never happen again anywhere.
