How happy are you right now?
Single-item measures dominate #ESM / #EMA.
Fast. Intuitive. Low burden.
But… how reliable are they really? #m-Path research suggests that a large share of within-person variance may be noise...

Chaewon Lee lead a (recently accepted) tutorial paper for psychologists who want to classify/predict using autoML: osf.io/preprints/os...
autoML lets you conduct and compare multiple machine learning algorithms quickly without requiring computer scientist-level knowledge of optimization. Try it!
Per source, NIH has been instructed to hold off from issuing ALL awards to Harvard, Cornell, Columbia, Brown, and Northwestern (including med schools)
Agency staff have also been instructed to not speak about this funding freeze to grantees and applicants
This is a good paper to know about, thanks! I found the one I was thinking of here, a really awesome piece of work:

Maybe a shot in the dark but I once read a really good paper that showed that large autoregressive effects can cause bias in cross-lagged estimates.
Anyone know who wrote this, or the title of the paper? Google scholar isn't finding it.
Join us for a 2-day remote workshops this summer! First we have one on Time Series Analysis for Intensive Longitudinal Data (intro to the basics) and then one on model discovery with GIMME.

Confirmed (by many sources) news about 50 NIH Study Sections being allowed to announce meetings in the Federal Register.
As usual, MANY more questions than answers...

🚨This should be amplified!!
Study sections and council meetings are still being cancelled despite the court order unblocking NIH freezes, effectively halting any new research grant from being funded: www.thetransmitter.org/funding/fede...
Definitely keep it. The paragraph reads as a brief history, and it's important historical context. Plus you aren't argumentative or shaming about it - from how it reads, I'm not even sure your views on eugenics 🤔

Really cool work using penalization to uncover subgroup-specific dynamics in ILD data using VAR.
Yes it does!
