Promises made, promises broken again, and again, and again. When will this Administration and the GOP ever focus on lowering costs for the American people? Only time will tell.

There is no good explanation for this Administration to quietly lift sanctions on Russia late on a Friday night.

Congress and the American people need immediate answers. We must not help Russia fund its illegal war in Ukraine and aid Iranian attacks on American troops.

Led a bipartisan Ukraine Caucus meeting with PM Svyrydenko. Ukraine has proven its people have the ingenuity to be a security provider on the world stage. It remains firmly in America’s interest to work closely with our Ukrainian allies. It is time for sanctions to pressure Russia to end this war!

American families are struggling with a 40% increase in gas prices, over $1 a gallon on average, caused by the War of choice with Iran. Instead of taking meaningful steps to bring down the soaring cost of living caused by this Administration’s policy, the President’s budget makes the problem worse.

If you look at tax cuts going back to the Reagan, Bush I, Bush II, and Trump Presidencies, they were never paid for. It didn't grow the economy fast enough to offset the debt generated. We can't solve the problem unless we're honest with ourselves that under Republican Presidents, our debt grew.

The American people are witnessing something unconstitutional and unprecedented in American history. Article I, Section 9 states “No money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by law.” Mr. Speaker, there was no vote to authorize the unconstiutional War in Iran.

Reckless across the board tariffs are raising our bills at the check out counter and the unconstitutional War in Iran has spiked gas prices at the pump. Now the average American family will pay $3,200 more a year out of their own pocket. Hardworking families can’t afford these added costs.
