I looked into this after we recorded - it's called Rexona almost everywhere in the world except the UK, where it's called Sure, and USA/Canada, where it's called Degree. I do seem to recall using it when I lived in Serbia. It is actually an Australian brand though.

I just watched this last month! It's great, but the palaeontology content was a little more sparse than I'd hoped - I think we'd need to watch the whole series to get enough for an episode, but if there's interest we can cover it.

Straw poll for archaeologists 🏺:

1) Do you listen to archaeology podcasts? If so, which ones?

2) If you don't listen to archaeology podcasts, what podcasts do you listen to?

3) If you don't listen to archaeology podcasts, what would get you to listen to one?

A screenshot from the movie "The Lost Tribe" of an archaeologist holding up a "missing link" skull. The skull has a weird depression transversely across the top of it. Superimposed is a "gamer dent" meme: an image of a bald gamer removing his headphones to reveal that they have left an impression on the top of his head, but it is photoshopped to an absurd degree. The similarity between the dent in the skull and in the guy's head is uncanny.

Great idea! I have been wanting to cover Prey but I want to get an Indigenous archaeologist as a guest for that one, and I'm not sure who I should ask. Maybe I'll reach out to some potential guests!

A graph with a zig-zaggy blue line showing the IMDB ratings for 79 Vinnie Jones movies in chronological order, which range from about 8/10 to about 2/10. A best-fit line indicates a downward trend over time, starting at about 6/10 and declining to about 4/10.

y = -0.0230x + 5.6722
R squared = 0.15821

It's officially October, so we're planning some scary movies for upcoming episodes! We just watched Legend of the Bog (2009), which prompted Ross to plot the decline of Vinnie Jones' IMDB scores over time (this is what happens when scientists watch movies) www.imdb.com/title/tt0928...
