Table 2, "Exemplar Quotes." Category: Articles mentioning screening frequency, 35(100%). Exemplar quote: "Women are now advised to get a mammogram every other year...from the US Preventive Services Task Force." (Howard 2024)

Media coverage of the 2024 USPSTF #BreastCancer screening guideline consistently detailed the new starting age and frequency, but discussion of overdiagnosis and informed decision-making was infrequent.

JAMA Dermatology presents RCT data on mobile dermatoscope types in teledermoscopy. 251 adults randomized: 128 used polarized, 123 ambient-light dermatoscopes. Findings show similar management recommendation proportions for both groups.

JAMA Dermatology presents RCT data on mobile dermatoscope types in teledermoscopy. 251 adults randomized: 128 used polarized, 123 ambient-light dermatoscopes. Findings show similar management recommendation proportions for both groups.

Although polarized dermatoscopes yielded more reportable images and fewer quality issues, a lower-cost, ambient-light, nonpolarized dermatoscope provided comparable clinical utility at a fraction of the cost. ja.ma/3M0EXOE
