With Betty out of the race, my decision from the frontrunners is easy: I am happy to endorse Tom Steyer for governor. Tom's progressive credentials over the last 15 years are unimpeachable, his message is clear and unambiguously progressive. I'm confident Steyer will make a fantastic governor.

Deeply grateful to Betty Yee for her service and her candidacy. I was proud to endorse and support her. She also deserves great credit for putting the greater good ahead of individual interest to suspend her campaign and consolidate Democratic support.
