The best thing about (early) 90s pop music is that the traditional gatekeepers broke down and all sorts of genuinely bizarre stuff got radio play. It was like nothing was out of bounds.
By the end of the 90s, those gatekeepers had reasserted control in a big way.
The Flyers have won 8 of their last 9 games. The Penguins have lost 5 straight.
Just sayin'.
Happy to help!
3 is the best, but 4 is your favorite.
A chocolate malt. I'm old school.
Man, do I love Italy. Florence is my favorite city
It usually goes the other way, "being on time is ableist"
Now I'm curious which shows up first!
I live in Dallas and DFW has A LOT of airport bars
I broke my back. Twice.
I've been done with hurrying for a long time. Comfort rules.
I see we're arguing about air travel again, which is better than most of the alternatives. But look, there's no way I'm gonna argue someone out of being a giant stress ball of neuroses. Just like they aren't gonna talk me out of borderline alcoholism.
Checking bags is a spinoff of arriving early.
Make shit easy on yourself. There's no need to rush. Have another beer and chill out.
I bet he raised thousands of dollars from people clicking to say FUCK YOU, GARY
To be fair, at the meetings we admitted to finding almost everyone annoying as shit
I'm having a milkshake. But I'm whimsical like that.
As the entire idea of the Charity Bowl is to weaponize spite to help people, one could make the case that Gary is actually helping.
Because there's nothing CFBSky loves more than scoreboarding some poor motherfucker.
Especially if its of the hungry, hungry variety
And while I do think Bo Rein could have been successful at LSU, they only hired him because they had already whiffed on all of their candidates.
I think it was time. It has been 18 years and the program has stagnated to a certain level...
That said, I do think the Board made some disastrous hires. To me, the great what if is Bobby Bowden as LSU head coach. That's next installment.
Every one was trying to Junction Boys that shit in the 50s. Hell, even the Bear said that was too harsh.
"The lesser of two evils is still evil" is one of those things that sounds smart but is really stupid.
That's beautiful. But I'm definitely Team Cholly Mac.
The beginning of the end for Cholly Mac is the new start for the LSU History Class

Online discourse seems powered less by the exchange of ideas than the constant hunt for conceptual objects that the listener can have and express strong feelings about. Indignation Objects, Rage Objects, and Self-Righteousness Objects seem especially highly valued
Man, this is basically what happened with baseball and STATS, Inc. and later Baseball Prospectus. These public debates and formulas eventually get privatized.
It's what they deserve for beating that awesome Sixers team in 77. It's the Curse of Dr. Jack.
Though we do get the story of Dawkins pulling the toilet out of the wall with his bare hands.
Let's reimagine the Blazers-Bulls series with the Blazers having Hakeem at center rather than Kevin Duckworth.
Slack screenshot Holly: Currently 69 schools on the board Stef: Nice Dan: Nice
Just a bunch of grown-ass adults about to raise a million dollars for folks in need
They also wanted to draft Hakeem. But lost the coin flip. Can you imagine Phi Slamma Jamma in the pros?
OK, that was less defensible.
