When I first had Thanksgiving with my Greek in-laws they had never cooked a turkey before so my mother-in-law served it with tzatziki- I loved it so much that I've made tzatziki as a Thanksgiving side dish ever since.
Do you have any unusual dishes at your Thanksgiving table?

During tonight's #DnD session we returned to the Moonshae Isles, where the party rescued a Song Dragon egg from a trio of hungry (and stupid) hill giants by pulling off a "Stone Soup" deception. Good times!
I used to love going to the salad bar but then they put up a sneeze guard and turned it into an echo chamber
Librarian here- having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card!
Also: If you don't have money to buy my (or anyone's) books, and you live in the anglosphere, before you pirate them, try to get them from your local library instead. They have it or can get it, they pay for the books, and in many places writers get paid for their books being lent. Everyone wins!
THIS. I went to Twitter to cultivate community, not to get into online arguments. If that's what they're calling an "echo chamber", then so be it.
The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.
I've been dragging my feet about this place, but a couple of disappointing and disturbing incidents on Twitter have made it increasingly clear that it's reached some kind of unwelcome tipping point. I haven't completely jumped ship yet, but I'm setting up shop here officially nevertheless.
As a player I treat every D&D session like it's a One-Shot.
Thank you muchly!
