I can see some very shallow surface similarities between "A Colour Out of Space," the only Lovecraft piece to well and truly mess me up, and the Southern Reach books, which have also well and truly messed me up, but that's it, really.

That Jason Isbell album is good and bums me out real hard, like even harder than his other albums.
