Haha! I’m sure Great British Railways will sort everything out. Yes. Absolutely.

Chiltern don’t have any catering at all. GWR first class consists of a bit of cake and a cuppa. It strikes me as bizarre that 30 years ago even in standard you could go to the buffet and get a hot (albeit microwaved) meal, sandwiches etc and there was a full bar service. And now nothing.

You can’t even get a cup of tea on most of my local trains anymore. Yesterday we were told there would be a “static trolley service for standard class” which rather defeats the purpose of a trolley in the first place, and even that was closing after ¼ of the journey.

Did the BBC only have one ‘comedy’ font in those days?!

“Brexit betrayal” - oh for god’s sake..

Every day, we’re paying to be poorer. We’re paying to be second class citizens on our own continent. We’re paying to queue. We’re paying for more red tape. We’re paying to be less secure and less trusted.

Brexit IS the betrayal. And so is defending it.

YouTube are literally killing their own platform. Impossible viewing experience now with ads barely one minute into a video.

Absolutely shocking. I also really liked the way the drama was directed with improvisation and workshopping combined with real footage. Compelling and appalling viewing.

Deeply annoyed to find I can’t watch u&gold or whatever it’s called on streaming without paying an extortionate amount of money to Sky

WHY was that camera SO high up on the ped for that opening link though? Made David Frost look demonic.

This month I have been running 2 - 3 times a week to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. The aim was to run a marathon over the course of the month. I have almost run two. Finishing it off today at my own parkrun was lovely (and my best age grade since 2019 apparently!)

This month I have been running for Prostate Cancer UK. The aim was to run a marathon over the course of the month - which today I achieved! How far can I go? Can you help me raise a bit more? Every £1 will help. Thank you runthemonthme.prostatecanceruk.org/fundraising/...

Leave not least ^

3 months ago 1 0 0 0

I keep taking least but the amount I still have left doesn’t seem to be going down. It’s also impossible to work out now that meal breaks aren’t included so leave is taken as 8.75 hours/day rather than 10 hours/day

Glorious isn’t it. The direction and sound mix is wonderful.

What a bizarre mashup mess of a new year soundtrack in London.

Gotta work off that BBC Christmas Dinner

3 months ago 1 0 0 0

Went for a Christmas Day walk in central London yesterday afternoon about 4pm. Simply couldn’t believe the amount of traffic and people in the centre. Why were they all there? How did they get into town - all public transport shut, so presumably they walked or were tourists and were there anyway.
