Tired of all the limitations of #Unity's string-based tag system? Try out my new asset: #TagTree!

TagTree is an hierarchical TagSystem #madewithunity, meaning you can create #tags like "State.Stunned.Electrict" and apply to anything, not just GameObjects!

Decided to try using come custom materials for each layer. I still haven't figured out how to show a brush preview for the layers, so it's a bit hard to paint in places that are already painted

I've also created a custom RuleTile so it automatically chooses the correct piece. Took a bit of time to understand how to get it to work, though.

This is the tilemap I'm using! I just rotate each piece based on their neighbors.
Very nice separation between logic and visuals.

Recently I've found out about Tilemaps dual grid system and thought it was very interesting! So I've been trying to adapt #Unity's tilemap system to work with it.
Who would've though with only 6 tiles I can get all sorts of different shapes
