A chaotic, swirling galaxy merger remnant fills the frame. At the center is a white cat's eye shape, surrounded by a haze of gas and stars. Emerging from this roughly circular central region are large, faint, white tidal tails that loop around the galaxy several times. One long tail emerges at about 9 o'clock and travels vertically up from the galaxy. The inner loops are streaked with purple gas and dark brown dust.
