We have the same bedside tables & tallboy that I bought when I was 21, which is *cough* a few years ago AND they are cheap garbage that I’ve repaired umpteen times. So I’ve just ordered a lovely new set plus new lamps. Told husband & he didn’t even blink. Starting to wonder if he even heard me. 😂

I still have this lot. And about 10 times as many on the bushes.

My niece had a whole trip planned to live & work in Europe & the UK this year. Absolute chaos suddenly ensued, as her dad migrated from Wales when he was 12. WTF? The whole thing has been so badly handled. She’d never had a UK passport, does now but it was a very stressful time.

My youngest niece has saved like mad, quit her job, got some marine safety qualifications & flitted off to the south of France to work on boats for a year. Why was I not that adventurous at 30? Oh, yeah. I had a husband, a mortgage and a kid.😂
