FERN Response: Property Tax Reform and Rural Britain - Future Economic Rural Network The Future Economic Rural Network's Position on the Treasury's Proposed Property Tax Changes

I assisted in working on FERN’s response to the Treasury’s property tax reform under James Nute.

Rural Britain already pays more in council tax, earns less, and owns lower-valued homes — a deep unfairness since 1991.

Any reform has to put that right.
