Exciting season of interviews about musicmaking starting April 21 from @rearrangedpodcast.bsky.social. Listen to the new Harriet Tubman record featuring Georgia Anne Muldrow, then on April 28, check out my interview with Georgia and guitarist Brandon Ross. Their set at Big Ears totally ripped.
@rearrangedpodcast.bsky.social is back! Six new episodes weekly starting April 21, including Sean O’Hagan of High Llamas, @gabrielkahane.bsky.social, Eblis Álvarez of Meridian Brothers, Brandon Ross with Georgia Anne Muldrow, and more.
Make your plans for Friday, April 24! Great lineup at Morsberger's in Catonsville. My band Glad Pulses go last, but come in time for Go Dog Go and The Jennifers.
And St. Mary's College alums: Pulses and Jennifers are lousy with SMCM grads. Call it a reunion!

Good morning.
In a dream last night, there was a TV newscaster named "Ten Grafft."

Baltimore! Glad Pulses, Batworth Stone, and The Llamas will be in Hampden from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday at Waverly Brewing Co. Come on by!
A dangerous expansion of @baltimorepolice.bsky.social license plate reader capability is flying in under the radar on today's BOE agenda. tinyurl.com/5n85jh5 As we did with another surveillance tool, the spy plane, Baltimore should shoot it down. [OP-ED]
Time for your midterm!
Glad Pulses plays Waverly Brewing this Sunday! 1 to 4pm, with The Llamas and Batworth Stone. Weather looks real nice, hope to see you there.
Fed up with reckless drivers in Baltimore? Wait till you see, in this investigative piece with excellent data graphics by Adam Marton, how little accountability they face even when they hit someone. My first for @baltimoremagazine.com.

Have other book authors been getting weird AI outreach? I’ve had made-up Goodreads groups promising “exposure,” “narrative consultants” offering to correct my cluttered storytelling, and this “Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime” author impostor “reaching outward through the quiet.”
Paddy says he'll chew up my guitar cables if you don't come see Glad Pulses at Wax Atlas at 4pm on Sunday. 5523 Harford Rd, with The Llamas and Gold Action also on the bill. shows.waxatlas.com/event/glad-p...
The first Orioles hit of 2026 belongs to ... Tyler O'Neill.
Baltimore: come up Northeast on Sunday for a 4pm show from Glad Pulses! It's at Wax Atlas, 5523 Harford Rd, $10. We have lots of new tunes, and The Llamas and Gold Action are on the bill. Take a listen: gladpulses.bandcamp.com
This is great. You music-first folks should come check out @rearrangedpodcast.bsky.social!
Update: That was a brutal battle at the car wash. Lotta people googling how to get “triple foam” out of your hair.
Look at the line for this car wash. The Banner was completely blind to the inevitable the salt-related car-washing panic they were going to cause. These people will eventually turn on each other. All this ice around? Someone’s gonna get hurt. Incredibly irresponsible reporting from the Banner.
I cannot run at this now, but I wonder if anyone is reporting on the army of excavators, small loaders, and dump trucks in Baltimore right now. I'm sure checks are flying out the door at City Hall, and I wonder about the oversight, given the way folks are seeing this play out in the neighborhoods.
"This is a lot for me." Poor thing.
Keep an eye out this month for my reporting on the lack of accountability for this region's worst drivers.

It will help DPW, first responders, etc., I suppose.
Thanks. They started at 9pm. Still here at 8:30am. They cleared it all from curb to curb, basically making parking spots. Visibility wasn’t a problem here. I wish they’d do by Hamilton Elementary/Middle first. Nowhere to park, so people are creating hazards double-parking on Old Harford at pickup.
I’m just a simple man. Help me understand why Baltimore City had a bobcat outside my window at 1 in the morning scraping and dumping snow, beeping and shaking my house the whole time, when my street was already passable.
