Fascinating read from Dijkstra from 1978 (while ignoring some other annoying stuff in there): www.cs.utexas.edu/~EWD/transcr... "when judging the relative merits of programming languages, some still seem to equate "the ease of programming" with the ease of making undetected mistakes."

I was not aware of Mauli. Just Schnappi
We didn’t just break ground we laid the foundation for a dream 17 years in the making. It will soon be more than a site; it will be a sanctuary for our TGI family to heal, lead, and thrive. This historic moment belongs to every leader and ally who refused to stop building a world where we are safe.
Axolotl!
Plenigu enketilon pri bitlibroj! Esperanto-USA starigas novan eldonejon, Guteto—nomo kiu omaĝas la agadon de Morojo (Myrtle Douglas) kiu eldonis propran sciencfikcian fanzinon nomitan Guteto inter 1941 kaj 1946. EUSA esploras eldoni bitlibrojn, do enketas pri la kutimoj kaj preferoj de E-legantoj.
@nulo.bsky.social Eble ĉar @takakihashimoto.bsky.social blokis min.
Gah, I love Chris Duffy
he aha te soylent kakariki?
He tāngata, he tāngata, he tāngata
Grassy area in front of forest, with a big informational sign stretching all the way to the ground, with the title in large letters, “OURS.” (The French word for bear.) In much smaller letters underneath, it says, “The Manawatu River Leaders’ Accord”.
Every time I bike past this sign, my brain thinks it’s a warning to watch out for bears
Haven't read it yet, but I was captivated for a full 1h45m by this YouTube documentary about a Doom (video game) custom level that was mysteriously published online and turned out to be much more--a beautiful work of non-linear narrative inspired by HoL (sorry, spoiler) which is how I learned of HoL
Tell me your favorite thing about the moon. It can be a science fact, a childhood memory, a dream you are still working toward…no rules, just the Moon
One of the best pictures of Mare Orientale, a multi-ring basin ~900 km across, imaged by Lunar Orbiter 4 (1967) from altitude 2773 km. It looks like a gigantic geologic bullseye.
Mosaic of photos of Schrödinger by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter, made with Wide Angle Camera. It's a beautiful example of a peak-ring basin, about 312 km in diameter - embedded in the wide, flat crater floor is a ring of peaks that form an inner circular feature.
Tycho crater as seen in a mosaic of images made by Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Tycho is a complex crater ~ 85 km across, with a very cool central peak complex made of some very nice mountains.
Alright everyone, ahead of Artemis tomorrow, what do we think the best lunar craters are? My top 3 are easily Orientale, Schrödinger, and Tycho:
Playlist for tomorrow's Artemis II launch? You betcha!
What's your favorite Moon or spaceflight song?

I'll also state on TDOV that beginning tomorrow you can watch a series of films directed by trans people on the Criterion channel. We programmed this series with love and with hope.
Oh! I was unaware this existed
People near Philly, please go to this, because I cannot
