If I had to take a guess, I think it's because Christy Clark would drag the federal Liberals back towards the centre, which seems to be where most Canadians live. And as much as BC residents may hate her, she isn't as much of a known quantity outside of BC (except for those who follow politics).

Also, I make it a point of not following people back if they haven't posted anything or have posted very little - why should I trust you when I have no idea how to feel you out?
