Business major Daisy Garduño likes the atmosphere of the Union up on the third floor. “I like that it’s really quiet. I think that everyone is kind of off in their own world,” Garduño said.

Health science major Gabriela Ramirez Estrada likes spending her time at the Union because of the space. “I like to use the space to study. Or hang out with my friends.” Estrada said.

Tommy Vang said while waiting in line for Panda Express to open: “I mainly like the convenience of it. That and it’s normally open earlier than most of the other stuff other than like Jamba.”

The Union is hosting a non-profit organization named the Sunburst Projects. They provide a variety of medical and mental health support for individuals with HIV or AIDS.
