So here's the updated scenario for Charge fans (and reminder that I’m not a math guy):
A regulation win over Boston tomorrow and they clinch the fourth and final playoff spot.
Anything else sets up a deja vu from last season: a winner takes all final game of the season again Toronto on Saturday.

Ottawa Charge fans, New York just gave you a huge win tonight, as they beat Toronto 1-0 in overtime.
While New York is now officially eliminated, their OT win means Toronto comes away with a single point and Ottawa retains the fourth and final playoff spot.
Not a math guy, but I believe that an Ottawa regulation win tomorrow clinches the playoff spot
New York is now officially eliminated from the playoff picture, as this game remains scoreless through regulation.
New York could still do Ottawa a favour by beating Toronto in overtime.
Two up, two down and things remain scoreless between Toronto and New York.
New York remains the more desperate team, but Toronto stepped up in the middle frame. Shots are now 19-10 in favour of the Sirens.
Again, NY *needs* to win in regulation to stay alive.
The first period is in the books and it remains scoreless between Toronto and New York.
The Sirens have come out flying in this one, leading 12-4 in shots on goal. Sarah Fillier had a goal called back for goaltender interference.

Big wins, unbelievable saves, highlight reel goals mark some of the memorable moments during a PWHL season.
For me, one of those moments was Saturday’s Pride Celebration Unity game. Fantastic game, and an amazing celebration of love.

• Gwyneth Philips will finish third in the league in wins (currently with 14)

If Toronto wins, then it’ll set up a third straight “winner takes all” game on Saturday against the Charge!
Other PWHL news:
• Montreal became the first team in history to earn 60 points in a season
• Jenn Gardiner became the first player to score four goals in a single game, and was also awarded Player of the Week honours

It’s certainly wordy!
Basically, Ottawa fans are rooting for a New York win tomorrow, and a regulation Charge win on Wednesday. That’s the best case scenario!
With two games left in the season, here are the scenarios facing Ottawa, Toronto and New York:

Ottawa moved five points up on New York and Toronto in the playoff race after a 5-1 win over the Sirens.
The game had all the hallmarks of a playoff matchup, saw back-to-back jailbreak goals, and another record crowd.
Here’s my recap for The Hockey News: thehockeynews.com/womens/pwhl/...
Jocelyne Larocque scored her first regular season goal with the Ottawa Charge in dramatic fashion with the first of two consecutive jailbreak goals en route to a 5-1 win over the New York Sirens.
Here’s her breakdown of the goal.
Yesterday’s matchup between the Ottawa Charge and New York Sirens certainly had all the makings of a playoff game.
So I asked Jaime Bourbonnais post game what it felt like to play in such an atmosphere, especially with so much on the line for both sides.
“I don’t know how many more seasons I have left, and I want to win a Walter Cup.
I still have a puck from last playoffs in my toiletry bag and I look at it every so often to be like ‘I want that Walter Cup.’ It’s the little things that keep you motivated.” - Jocelyne Larocque
