Project Implicit is a critical scientific tool worthy of your support. It has given us a lot, let’s give some back.

Welp, my grant was canceled, too. Frankly, I would’ve been a little ashamed if it hadn’t been. But the jokes on them, as almost all the money was already spent 🖕
So awful and stupid! I’m so sorry they’ve done this to you
these are really fraught and obtuse examples if you’re trying to make a historical point about being careful with trust. good grief
really?
yeah, that agreement was in no way based on trust
bedfellows? yes, both the Nazis and Jews wanted to get Jews out of Germany. is that how you mean?
your point being?
This piece elaborates on the keynote I gave at the 2023 SPSP

Empathy does not need to be a zero-sum competition. Supporting one group does not require erasing another. Especially not by social psychologists.
Thank you, Mickey

I will be recruiting PhD students to begin Fall 25. Students interested in intergroup bias are encouraged to apply, particularly those with an interest in research on antisemitism.

If by supremacy you mean determined to stay alive 👍
It’s a pretty narrow political ideology, with one and only one claim. I understand that the term has additional meaning in some contexts but for most American Jews, at least, it just means Israel gets to exist. This is why I asked how you defined Zionism. We’re talking past each other
This is where I think a distinction between political disagreements with Israel and with Zionism need to be distinguished from one another. One is criticism of Israel’s actions, the other is critical of the notion of Israel.
Agreed
If you’re trying to play gotcha by pointing out Bibi’s awfulness, you are wasting your time. We agree.
Um, they are the people in charge in Gaza, so I’d say it’s pretty relevant. I’m sure you’re not defending Hamas…
I clearly stated that I do not think that.
I don’t disagree
Yes, the situation is terrible. All attempts to enact a 2-state solution have been rejected by Palestinians. Now, the leadership of both peoples is a major problem.
Not all. But the awful people in charge most certainly want that. Do you deny that?
It’s literally written in the Hamas charter. You don’t believe them?
Israel is far more ethnically diverse than any of its neighbors.
cares. Insisting that Jews (and only Jews) acceptingly expose themselves to people truly committed to their genocide is antisemitic. There needs to be a 2-state solution
That might be true if you fail to comprehend that Jews would be immediately attacked in your ideal single state. It is naive to think otherwise, and to expect Israeli Jews to just be cool with that also strikes many as antisemitic. There are Muslim ethnostates all over the middle east, and no one…
Other groups do not need to justify their pain. That also feels targeting and, in its unique application to Jews, antisemitic
