Mural of Alexander Fleming

Mural of Alexander Fleming

The village I'm from was the birthplace of Alexander Fleming. This is quite a progressive tribute for them. Though there is a rose garden in the shape of bacteria.

Diagonal stretched out cat on a tiled floor.

Fluffy - still falling asleep in the most awkward places. Right in front of the cooker, fridge and cupboard. Might be trying the passive bribery route.

Prioritise artists over tech in AI copyright debate, MPs say Cross-party committees urge ministers to drop plans to force creators to opt out of works being used to train AI

Disappointed about the lack of mention of research and education. It has been all about art and tech companies www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

Accidentally turned up in person for an online meeting. I know more about the service, re-connected with people, did some improvement coaching & MHFA support. Made more progress on a project than I have in the last month. Bob Ross 'happy accident' protocol might become a thing.

The Farm Scandal | Short Stuff | BBC Scotland Comedy YouTube video by BBC Scotland - Comedy

The problem with online is the loss of information in communication. Amused that someone tried to explain to me 'fit like' and other Scottish phrases. Led to me introducing our apprentice to the rich culture and humour of Doric. Gentle intro youtu.be/WA8CmeBZEJo?...

Love the structure and vivid descriptions. I struggled to suspend my disbelief in places due some concept focus. Some science there, as well as the fantastical exploration of the joys and cruelty of the hive from the perspective of a rising sanitation bee. harpercollins.co.uk/products/the...

There is murmured in retention meetings "Those that play together, Stay together" A number of doctors play D&D, wonder if they would be up for social deduction games. Or maybe LibCon.

Agreed. I think it is an approach that needs to be taken. Seeing lots of trials of it coming out at low cost. Sustainability of it is much improved.

Very little literature out there on the negative impact of unsustainable pilot projects. Had a good old rant today about short termism and the need for more longitudinal studies and ROI.

Doubt it. I am fascinated by the way LLM is segmented into specialist subjects. Bit like databases really. I wonder if that reduces functionality for certain processes. Cost claims were interesting since unverified there. Will be amused at legal wrangle. There is censorship in its model.

Noticed the Reading Well has had a revamp. Gutted they have dropped long-term conditions lists. Nice to see additions to support dementia, wellbeing books for GPs and updated flyers for GPS on the scheme. Like the older post on Environmental Anxiety too. readingagency.org.uk/get-reading/...

Garlic doing nicely. Lost the gate to herbs and fruit. Winter lettuce didn't make it, but over winter brassicas still look strong.
