Hello, heard back from library manager who's back in today. There's been a citywide issue relating to filters not working as intended. It should be fixed now but they're still experiencing issues with child/teenage library cards. Pls lemme know if it continues/there's another issue.

Powderhall / Leith Walk / Easter Road / Meadowbank path negotiations continue between Edinburgh Council & Network Rail Scotland, & assessments have taken place on the bridges down the route.
However we're a whiles until any spade can hit the ground. The funding picture was answered back in Feb too.

Nestled at the foot of Pilrig Heights, they're a very friendly bunch (only one Jack was hit today) & are looking for new members!

I'll need to get an update on the TRO (Traffic Regulation Order) needed to better enforce several parts of that.
I belive it should be. On the 2nd point? there needs to be TRO before the angles etc could be enforced.
I suspect the barrier will have been re-used from the Foot of the Walk when Leith Connections was still being built. It was discussed last week at @leithcentralcc.bsky.social but hopefully the works will start soon.

Grand to attend the Capital City Partnership board meeting at Leith Links today.
Despite challenges, they've helped 580+ Edinburgh & South East Scotland residents find good-paying work, guided 313 into further education, & pushed the Living Wage between Apr-Dec 2025.

Last month, I met Council officers, @leithcentralcc.bsky.social, & NT Broughton CC to assess issues & results of pavement parking along Leith Walk.
While work's underway for poss. new loading provision & physical protection, a team will run the length of Leith Walk from 23/3 to fix loose paving.
