In my youth, I performed at various events in all manner of costumes. Someone my size in a full renaissance gown in a venue that only had tiny port-a-loos in mid-summer. Possibly TMI, but I have to say that acrobatic manoeuvring was probably more impressive than some of my juggling and fire acts.

My only concern with one piece outfits is uh… public bathroom stripping. Good luck with that.

I also met the YouTuber Eddie Bowley at an event few months ago, his beard looked different from the most recent videos I’d seen him on, but he looked so familiar I thought he was someone I met the day before so I chatted then he said who he was. I felt bad I don’t usually bug famous people!

Many years ago Amber Benson came into the store where I worked. I thought I’d met her at a party, I thought she was the girlfriend of an acquaintance of mine, she looked so familiar! I wasn’t expecting to run into her there. It wasn’t until I saw her name on the credit card that it clicked.

Face blindness seems to be a spectrum. I recognise some people easily, but others I really struggle it can be so embarrassing! I often recognise that I know someone, but not who they are or where I know them from. I’ve mistaken celebrities for acquaintances before.. twice…so awkward!
