I’ve never known how to end this, because I’ve never lived the ending.

In her travels she finds she has been mythologized into a terrible beast, and no one believes she is who she claims to be. Her obnoxious clone never leaves her side, and she sees at last she has switched places with the scientist (now long dead). Her enemy has won, all has been taken but her anger.

This has played out ad nauseam for thousands of years (time having been repeatedly reset), there is no hope for anyone. The rabbit faces its greatest foe and loses. She is left powerless and in stasis, until she is awoken by a grimly farcical caricature of herself. Life is miserable. There is no end

When her employers unexpectedly return, the scientist is taken to be tortured. The rabbit obviously follows, wanting to save her, but this is just what the scientist’s captors are hoping for. Our hero is unknowingly playing the antagonist. The friends she makes along the way are nothing to her.

An anthropomorphic rabbit and a mysterious scientist live aboard a wrecked space vessel, stranded on a desert planet. The rabbit loves the scientist, but the scientist has had a life so full of tragedy that love has become muted in the face of simple vengeance. The rabbit could never understand.
