Lovely night obviously, won't deny that, but my memory says that these days we beat them more often than not. The actual memorable bit for me is Ferdi's first goal at home. #BHAFC

Sixth. Think about where we were thirty years ago. There's a long, long way between 92nd and sixth. I was struck by that after seeing Dunky and Jack chatting and smiling on the bench. How lucky we are to have them (and of course our Solly as well). From the edge of existence to sixth. What a world.

Gosh. Wasn't that delightful. Astonishing performance, could have won by much more (Rob as chaotic as ever, bless). But never mind them, how about us. Wonderful stuff from all. Of course we should have taken more of those chances, but you won't catch me complaining this time. Well done, boys. #BHAFC
Today was always going to be a nightmare, but goodness me we didn't help ourselves. What a terrifying watch. But a goal of the season contender from Kaoru and my god did we need Georgi back on the scoresheet. Unfortunately we're clearly missing Milner and Dunk. Hope Diego is alright. #BHAFC
Not one for the ages but I'll happily take the points, the clean sheet and the goal difference. Thought Yankuba, Pascal and Mats (obvs) did particularly well. Hope Milner's alright. Now to next week, which...christ. I hope we smash them six ways from Sunday and then some. UTA. #BHAFC
(Being a person of a particular vintage, I nearly wrote 'standing on the shoulder of giants' there. Might give that album another spin soon, certainly Gas Panic! would be an appropriate song for these interesting times.)
I've a vintage Nasa poster on the wall with portraits of every astronaut from Mercury to Challenger, and it's been quite something to look over all those faces while watching the Artemis II crew head off to do something that's never been done in my lifetime, standing on the shoulders of giants.
I can't imagine anyone was happy with that refereeing performance, not even the away fans. Not the worst we've seen this season of course, but still terrible.
What a performance. Absolutely superb. The amount of fine wine sloshing through our squad could fell an elephant. We arguably should have won that by an even bigger margin, but I'll take 2-1. Lovely crisp passing, (mostly) solid defending, and wonderful attacking threat. Excellent stuff. #BHAFC

2023, I think!
Good old Jack Albion stood in the crowd at Glasto in 2023 flying his JASON STEELE FOR ENGLAND flag.
You don't say. Everybody watching knew it was a penalty except for the people who are ostensibly paid to know it was a penalty. More excellent work from the lads at PGMOL. #BHAFC
Didn't mind that one bit. Love when luck goes our way for once, love Jack looking dangerous, love Yankuba giving them the old 1-0 as he went off. Both teams played well, and it's great to come away from a match with my only real complaint having to do with Dunky's trip to Diego's barber. #BHAFC
It's been hard lately, there's been unrest, not all our hopes and dreams have become reality, but as the bard says, we've come a long long way together. Up the FUCKING Albion.
Oh, they've absolutely done me there, our club. I'm in a room of infinite onions. #BHAFC www.brightonandhovealbion.com/media-video/...
Twitter screenshot of a tweet from the Mirror: 'Oasis Icon Noel Gallagher splits from girlfriend Sally Mash after two years', which @DanReilly92 has retweeted and asked, 'Is that the guy who plays for Brighton?'
Apologies for the twitter screenshot, but christ this made me laugh. #BHAFC
A new contract at Brighton for Jack Hinshelwood, a homegrown success story.
He has spent 12 years at the club and he is only 20. #BHAFC
Can't stand them pricks from yesterday. Awful club, awful fans, awful football. And the refs and comms fall for it! Proud of our performance, very impressed with Oli, enjoyed Yankuba's energy, and I desperately want Georgi's confidence to come back. And Fabian? He told it like it fucking is. #BHAFC
Daniel Nii Tackie Mensah Welbeck, you beauty. #BHAFC www.bbc.com/sport/footba...
What a game of football that was, eh? Astonishing first half, worrying second half, six-minute panic attack in stoppage time. Terrible but tolerable refereeing, dogged defensive work from all, loved free-roaming Jack, Milner my POTM, and oh how the soul did sing at the return of Solly March. #BHAFC
Welcome back, Solly! ๐๐
Inordinately pleased for Wolves there. Threw the game on at 93' to see if they'd manage, and did they ever. It's good to see Rob Edwards have reason to smile again, he seems great. And fair play to Wolves, they looked excellent in the bit that I saw, both solid and willing to attack. What an ending.
My book A Heart That Works just became profitable (meaning it's made more $ than the advance I was paid, & most books don't!). I'm telling you this because I gave 100% of that advance to kids' hospices & now, again, when ppl buy it, I can give more $ to kids' hospices: bookshop.org/p/books/a-he...
Was genuinely thinking about this exact thing earlier today. I was reading a bit of a news article (UK-based) to my partner and I replaced the word Argentinian with Argentine (the sentence referred to one person). Argentinian didn't seem to fit at all, and I wondered why the author had used it.
Oh my giddy aunt, they only went and fucking done it, and up at that Brentford as well (enjoy the bonus, boys!). That was some genuinely delightful football to watch, the compliments far outweigh any complaints. And a huge congratulations to James Milner, we're very lucky to have him. UTFA #BHAFC
You mean they're not just normal countries? @maxrushden.bsky.social @phlaimeaux.bsky.social
Woof, admin. What an image to use. I dunno. We certainly didn't deserve that. Had them struggling for good portions of the match, but the refereeing was dire and you'd think grown men wouldn't fall over as much as Villa did. Milner and Diego quite good and Harry looked at it. Heads up, boys. #BHAFC
I've spent a lot of time thinking about the match. And not even the match itself but everything Dunk said after. The refrain of 'the group'. The group isn't working hard enough, isn't doing enough for themselves or for the coach. I hate to think something is wrong, but there is. Oh lads. UTA. #BHAFC
