I’m a nearly 40 year old tomboy lol. It’s never too late
Sorry more insufferable glee posting, but: turns out reverting back to the person you were before all the bad things happened and the world told you to be different is amazing? I cut my hair, I play football, I have a wife, I read for a living. Somehow I am exactly who 11 year old me wanted to be.
Secret hack: all it took was my wife (very dramatically!) nearly dying in right front of me twice in a week, 8 months as a full-time carer, a cancer scare for me and ptsd to make me make change the course of the ship. Would I recommend it? Jury’s out
We all do
Thanks x
(Fair) genuinely, I am flabbergasted that this life was possible - I didn’t know
AND I quit smoking!!!!!
I don’t understand how this happened but I’m not sad about it ha. Also to transparently brag, I scored a hat trick on Wednesday and that was good
Somehow I’ve turned my life upside down, started playing 5 hours of football a week, falling in love with it & meeting cool new people, on course to finish my PhD, planning a wedding, having a social life, not batshit insane, feel mostly good most of the time. Honestly didn’t know this was possible
The second most bad thing about women’s football for me personally is that we have to play on a shitty field with no lights and no lines while the men play on a proper pitch and have a changing room and all sorts, though that’s probably covered by my first point above too now I think about it
Especially very loud men who feel it is their god given right to scream about what “their” “girls” /should/ be doing on the pitch. Like dude she is a professional athlete who has a coach already, just stfu
The most bad thing about women’s football is men.
Still plenty of time to get a pot delivered in time for Christmas; we ship UK 24hr tracked.

Sharing also massively appreciated, your follower could be my next customer! I am a disabled maker, meaning this is not a full time gig so every sale helps!
I think about this question a lot tbh. I hope it would be positive! My concern is more that the structure of our precarious employment is so punishing already it seems wild for us to take a potential additional hit to our prospects on the chance it ‘inspires’ or comforts students. Which makes me sad
Don’t faint from shock but saw an actually good psychiatrist…?? Truly wild that I am typing such a sentence but needs must
Me neither :(
To clarify: not the good kind of condition! The bad kind that requires multiple invasive medical procedures. It’s not the end of the world but it is a little distressing.
Just discovered I have a 1:100,000 condition. My lovely wife described me as a shiny charizard which lightened the mood tbh
It is actually peak absurdity that we still have people arguing that voters should bend to the positions of their political representatives instead of the other way around.

Two tweets by Keir Starmer, one saying: Real patriotism means building a country where everyone feels safe, valued and respected. We choose hope over fear, and renewal over decline. The other saying: I’m focused on real, workable solutions to tackle illegal immigration. Not gimmicks. Returning people with no right to be here, seizing hundreds of boats and working with international partners to smash the gangs. That's how we are securing our borders.
Five hours apart
Slamming Tylenol like tic tacs so my children will be gods
Had surgery today (I’m fine (ish (hopefully)) and back home) and it turns out I’m very bad at resting on command :(
In fairness to the police, frail pensioners with disabilities are far easier to arrest
Shot, chaser
Young men more likely to vote Green than Reform. Young men second most progressive group of any demographic. Combined right-wing vote barely bigger than Green vote alone for young men
And right back to you too mate 💜
Proud to have closed this debate and for our union @nhbcsa.bsky.social to have been part of the composite motion to LGBT+ Conference.
Thank you #tuc25 for standing up for trans people.
Which is itself probably a sign of how irritable I am. Yes, I am clinically pissed off
Everyone keeps praising me for how well I’m doing in maintaining insight and trying to reduce risk and mitigate any potential catastrophes, but it just mostly feels embarrassing and sad. Gold star for me even though I don’t really want it
Bath, brew, benzo on repeat isn’t really working, but my hilarious therapist did rate all the local hospitals in terms of their emergency departments’ mental health provision so at least I know where -not- to go if things escalate
