Now that I've escaped the VFR hell that is the Zubat extras, time to catch up on Sukeban Deka III. HD raws for episodes 19-22 and the special that aired between 21 and 22 are up.

Blu-Ray raws for The Magnificent Zubat are up

Zubat status: episodes done, now stuck in VFR Hell.

And yes, that's Doctor Oblar's actor.

HD raws for Sukeban Deka III 17-18 are up.

And those are going to take the bulk of the time. Keeping the tape footage at 60fps means I have to do a bunch of manual setup. Nothing I haven't done before, but time-consuming.

Raws will take a while. The four BDs (8 eps each, and disc 1 having the preview for ep 1) are simple enough. But the bonus disc (reprint of the bonus disc from the DVD box) had two fairly legnthy things that mix the 24fps show footage and original taped footage.

Zubat DVDs have some DNR, but there's still grain. Some of the previews have color correction issues, and flicker between good color and red-tinted at places. But over all, pretty good.
