Today we read ‘The Gingerbread Man’ and had to work as a team to build a trap for the gingerbread man. Our traps had to hold the gingerbread man, stay standing and have no gaps he could espace from. With the help of some P7s our traps were ready for testing 🧱

This week we have been exploring doubles! Today we had fun painting and stamping numicon to make double number sentences. We counted them up to solve each double 🧮

P2 explored ‘Mixed: A Colourful Story’ by Arree Chung to discover how colours mix into secondary and tertiary shades 🎨 We then linked colours to our feelings, giving our mixed colour spots their own emotions. 💛💙❤️ → 💚🧡💜

Next, P2 moved on to number lines! We rolled one dice for our starting number and another to see how much to add 🎲 Then we jumped along the number line to find the total! While waiting our turn, we wrote the matching number sentences.➕
