A very rough outline of a squarish object surrounded by a bright blue sky and clouds. This is the beginning of a mural but the base sketch is not very visible.
This is the same mural but now you can see shaped of flowers and a bird beginning to form. A dark cool toned green background has been added inside the squarish shape.
The bird inside the squarish shape is now painted with its base color of a deep rust brown with white and dark violet accents. Its wing is bursting out of the top right side of the squarish shape while foliage spills out of the bottom left of the same shape. The flower shapes are now purple and stalks and bright warm green leaves have been added. There are also a few darker/mid tone leaves framing the top and sides to even things out.
This is the final product. It is a mural that depicts a Polaroid style frame on top of a blue background full of clouds. There is a bird that is the main focus of the image and it is flying with a blueberry in its mouth. The wings are a brighter foxy red now with the same purple and white contrasting designs. The hydrangeas behind the bird are now covered in lighter tiny flowers. Text at the bottom of the image, in very poor handwriting, says “Brown Thrasher” which is the type of bird depicted. It is the state bird of Georgia and I think they’re cool bc they have whiskers.
Considering I had basically 48 hours to throw this together and only about 6 to get it painted I am okay with how it turned out. And I got paid for technically defacing public property which is also cool.
