In the same manifesto, Palantir's owners argued that we need a national military draft, that soft power is over, and that we were too hard on Germany and Japan after World War II. I don't think that company should be allowed to exist anymore.
Got some bad news but also some good news on the GOP Tax Scam front in Missouri
My guess for tomorrow’s State of the City speech:
Mayor Cara Spencer will announce her proposed regulations around AI data centers in the city. She’ll frame them as a big win for the community, but in reality, they’ll be toothless and unenforceable. Just lip service to keep benefitting developers.
they’re calling it the fakest economy of all time
not controversial to say Bob Clark is an out of touch rich guy but does he expect everyone to buy this

(Can’t believe I’m saying this) everybody say good job Mayor Spencer

Don’t get your hopes up, St. Louis. Cara Spencer doesn’t have to face the voters for another four years. We’re absolutely gonna get data centers in the city while she’s in office.

Great turnout tonight. People are pissed about this police board budget!

Walking thru the “Ultra Normie” No Kings rally in my extremely rural, white town and there are Patagonia wearing moms carrying signs that say “DEAD PEDOPHILES DONT REOFFEND” and “ICE GETS THE WALL” and I hi fived an old guy with a sign that said MY DADDY FOUGHT NAZIS AND SO WILL I” this is wild
Chris Graville is a lawyer for the SLMPD Board of Commissioners, and his primary job is to negotiate against the city for the highest possible police budget legally allowed under state law. Chris is paid $275/hour using our tax dollars, but he is explicitly working against our best interests.
Boycott the Police Board’s Businesses
so THAT’S why he wasn’t running for re-election in St. Louis County
